Uploading data to the UCL Data Safe Haven

Data file uploads

The transfer method for HIC-Critical Care .csv files is via the UCL Data Transfer Portal. To register for an account to upload data, please contact the HIC-CC Information Asset Administrator. Please see the Data Collection Overview. file naming format and data inclusion.

  1. Login to UCL Data transfer Portal

  2. Choose upload

  3. Choose Show Upload Dialog

  4. Choose and upload all files

Frequency of uploads

The HIC-CC data scientists will upload files into the UCL DSH quarterly on the first Monday of January, April, July and October. If the file has not been received within 10 days an email will be sent to the site program manager or clinical lead requesting the file.

Lifecycle

The transfer of data will be ongoing.

Data Quality Reporting

Reports will be sent to to the clinical lead at each site within one month of the final site uploading data. This process will be facilitated by the “Teams” HIC-CC DSH users channel to support the timely upload of the data. Please contact HIC-CC Information Asset Administrator to be added to the channel.

Reporting

Any security incident involving the infrastructure, systems or data related to or affecting this project must be reported to the lead process owner for the HIC-CC and the Information Security Manager and/or Information Governance Manager or equivalent for each organisation.
